E-mail: ingom@cox.net He moved to Hamburg, Germany where he finished his “Abitur” and graduated from the “Wentorfer Gymnasium”. After graduating, Ingo had to complete a year of mandatory military service. Immediately there after he started with his studies in Photography. He attended and graduated from the “Hamburger Photoschule” in 1989. After a short time working as a photographer’s assistant, Ingo moved to the US and continued his studies in Photography at the world’s famous photographic institution “Brooks Institute of Photography” in Santa Barabara, CA. While going to school, Ingo
was fortunate to work with several photographers as an assistant to
further his knowledge and expertise. He completed an Internship with “Playboy Studios”, where he learned many of the professions day-to-day operations thru completion of intricate sets and location photo shoots, as well as techniques from the best Glamour Photographers. It is through this experience that Ingo was able to develop an eye for detail and his acute ability to recognize and capture the subtle beauty of his subjects. Ingo graduated from Brooks
Institute with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration and
Advertising, and also received the highest departmental award. In 1993 Ingo had the
opportunity to work for an International Co., with offices in Santa
Barbara, producing photographs for Postcards and silkscreen T-Shirts
that sold worldwide. During this time, Ingo continued working as a
freelance photographer, expanding his photographic journey. He never
shied away from assisting for other photographers, to continue to learn
and expand his experiences in the many fields of Photography, like
corporate advertising, photographic illustrations and weddings. In 1997 Ingo became the Studio manager for an award winning Portrait Photographer “ Joyce Wilson”, with Studios on the west and east coast. Drawing from these diverse situations, Ingo has developed a very diverse clientele, which he continues to serve with freshness of his perspectives and his technical mastery. Ingo has ventured into a variety of photographic categories and continues to expand his knowledge through every job. Accepting assignments for product Advertising, Catalogues, Interior Design, Weddings, Portraiture, Fashion, Runway, Events, Model books and Web design. Ingo is primarily a people
Photographer and enjoys interacting with the diversity of human beings
that have come across his path, to achieve photographic images with a
distinct variety depth and beauty of his own vision. In 2004 Ingo moved to Las Vegas, NV. where he resides at the moment. He took on a position as a
photographic instructor at the College of Southern Nevada to share his
knowledge and expertise with the students of this institution. He is
also teaching at the “Art Institute of Las Vegas” and he is a
Photography advisor for the University of Southern Nevada. This newest endeavor has
given Ingo the opportunity to stay current with the newest
technology in his field and expand his photographic experiences and
clientele in a new location. Accepting assignments nationwide, he never
abstains from going an extra mile for his clients. “ The never ending growth
thru Photography has expanded every aspect of my life, not only
professionally but also emotionally. The discovery of different
photographic images, ideas and styles is as challenging and adventurous
as many other things in life.” |
